Two mates with different trade backgrounds got together to form a partnership. Phil Hayward had a background in Electrical Refrigeration and Fred Tahau a background in Horticulture.

From small beginnings to now employing up to 20 staff in the peak of the pollination period is proven testament to good old Kiwi ingenuity. It was our determination and belief in our invention that kept us going until the spraying techniques were perfected.

Phil and Fred have developed the machine to overcome the large labour requirements and costs associated with some hand application systems.
